About the Direkt

The Heco Direkt is a premium two-way bass reflex floorstanding loudspeaker introduced around 2018. It features a 275 mm kraft paper cone woofer and a 30 mm silk compound dome tweeter with a full aluminum front panel and a high-efficiency wave-control horn geometry. The speaker offers a nominal power handling of 200 watts RMS (320 watts max), an impedance range of 4 to 8 ohms, and a sensitivity of 95 dB. Its frequency response spans from 25 Hz to 28,000 Hz with a crossover frequency at 2,350 Hz. The cabinet is designed with a flat, metal base construction for stability and resonance reduction, finished in black or white with silver accents. The speaker supports bi-wiring and bi-amping and includes high-quality internal cabling with low inductance twisted-pair cables for the tweeter and oxygen-free copper conductors for the bass. Dimensions are approximately 440 x 900 x 200 mm (WxHxD) without feet and 440 x 998 x 397 mm including metal feet, weighing about 25.8 kg. It is suitable for use with both transistor and tube amplifiers, offering excellent dynamics and efficiency for audiophile listening.
