About the Nimbus

The HRS Nimbus System is a bottom-chassis noise-reduction system used by audiophiles and industry professionals to reduce the negative impact of air- and structure-borne vibration on audio and video components. It uses a precisely tuned combination of mass, stiffness, and damping to eliminate chassis resonance and transform residual energy into heat, revealing greater musical detail and clarity. The system consists of two primary elements: the all-polymer Nimbus Coupler and the billet-machined, anodized aluminum Nimbus Spacer, which are combined into a Nimbus Assembly to accommodate different component heights and support configurations. Nimbus Assemblies are placed directly on the shelf, with a coupler contacting the shelf surface and another contacting the component's bottom chassis (not its stock feet), and are typically used in sets of at least three under each component.
