The Harbeth 40.3 XD is a floor-standing speaker known for its detailed sound and dynamic performance. It features a 3-way vented design with a 12-inch bass driver, an 8-inch midrange driver using Harbeth's patented RADIAL2 material, and a 1-inch ferrofluid-cooled tweeter. The speaker has a frequency response of 35Hz to 20kHz ±3dB and an impedance of 6-8 ohms, making it relatively easy to drive with a recommended amplifier power of at least 35W per channel. It is available in various finishes, including Cherry, Eucalyptus, Rosewood, and Tiger Ebony.
