About the DM58 Monoblocks

The Halcro DM58 is a high-end solid-state monoblock power amplifier rated at more than 200 watts into 8 ohms and more than 350 watts into 4 ohms. It uses Halcro’s ultra-low-distortion circuit design, with full-power harmonic distortion specified below 4,000 parts per billion. The amplifier provides balanced and unbalanced inputs, each with a 100 kΩ input impedance, a maximum slew rate of 100 V/µs, and protection against short circuits, overcurrent, overload, and excessive temperature. Its universal power supply accepts approximately 85–270 V RMS and incorporates active power-factor correction. Separate shielded chassis compartments isolate the power supply, input circuitry, and output stage. Each monoblock measures approximately 31 × 16 × 16 inches and weighs about 57 kg (125 lb).
