About the DM38
The Halcro DM38 is a reference-grade stereo power amplifier introduced around 2003, designed for audiophile applications. It delivers over 180 watts per channel into 8 ohms and more than 350 watts into 4 ohms with extremely low total harmonic distortion (THD) of less than -110 dB at full power. The amplifier features balanced (XLR) and single-ended voltage-mode and current-mode (RCA) inputs, and a patented power-factor-corrected switch-mode power supply compliant with CE regulations. It offers exceptional sonic clarity, wide and deep soundstage, and superb microdynamic reproduction, making it suitable for driving a wide range of speakers including electrostatics.
