The Gryphon Mirage is a reference stereo preamplifier and control amplifier, not an integrated amplifier, designed as a modular three-piece system combining striking industrial design with state-of-the-art audio engineering. It employs a true dual-mono, fully discrete, pure Class A topology with mirror-imaged circuit boards and separate, isolated power supplies for each channel to minimize crosstalk and noise and preserve low-level detail. The Mirage's distinctive architecture includes a main preamplifier chassis, a detachable control section, and a substantial solid-aluminum remote wand that serves as the user interface for volume, source selection, and power, and can be placed separately with wireless communication between the control section and main chassis.
