About the Antileon EVO

The Gryphon Antileon EVO is a no-compromise stereo power amplifier featuring pure Class A operation, true dual mono construction, and a massive, unflappable power supply. It delivers 150 watts per channel into 8Ω in stereo mode and up to 175 watts per channel with Class A bias, with peak power capabilities reaching 5000W at 1/4Ω. The amplifier uses 40 high-current bipolar output transistors, a fully balanced input and voltage amplifier stage, and a newly developed ultrafast J-FET input stage. It incorporates a large 670,000 µF power capacitor bank and twin custom-designed 1500W toroidal transformers mechanically isolated from the chassis with epoxy resin damping for vibration control. The Antileon EVO supports switchable Class A bias with Green Bias technology that adjusts bias automatically when paired with a Gryphon preamplifier. It features Gryphon Guideline Reference gold-embedded silver internal wiring, Mundorf RXF polypropylene capacitors for power supply decoupling, Takman REY precision resistors, and a microprocessor-controlled smart protection system. The amplifier has a flat frequency response extending beyond 350 kHz, a gain of +31 dB, input sensitivity of 0.975V, and a signal-to-noise ratio of 81 dB.
