About the Rega Platter
The Groovetracer Delrin Platter is a high-mass upgrade for various Rega turntable models including Planar 2, 3, 25, RP1, RP3, RP6, RP40, P1, P2, P3, P25, P3-24, and P5. Hand-made in the USA to military tolerances, it improves balance, upper frequency definition, inner detail, imaging, and speed stability without requiring VTA adjustments or felt mats. The platter features a recessed underside to match Rega's playing surface height, a label recess for flush record placement, and an outer diameter 15mm larger than stock for added mass (83 oz vs. stock 70 oz). No mat is needed, and it's inspected for precision. Note: U.S. shipping only; RP6 compatibility requires subplatter upgrade.
