About the MU2

The Grimm Audio MU2 is a high-end music player that combines a Roon Core music server, Roon Ready network endpoint, streaming and local playback, Grimm Audio’s proprietary Major DAC, and an analog preamplifier. It provides Ethernet networking, USB storage support, AES3, coaxial S/PDIF, and optical digital inputs, plus balanced XLR and single-ended RCA analog inputs and outputs. A 6.35 mm headphone output is also included. The Major DAC uses 128FS oversampling with Grimm Audio’s Pure Nyquist filter and an 11th-order, 1.5-bit noise shaper operating at 512FS.
