The Grimm Audio CC1 is a high-precision master clock designed to provide ultra-low jitter clock signals for professional and audiophile digital audio systems. It features 16 word clock outputs configurable in separate groups with base rates of 44.1kHz and 48kHz and their 1/2/4 multiples, supporting sample rates up to 192kHz. The CC1 includes an AES/EBU reclocker that cleans the digital feed to DA converters, enhancing sound quality by reducing jitter and improving timing stability. It can operate as a standalone master clock or as a re-clocker/slave, synchronizing to external word clock or AES signals with a PLL offering 90dB jitter suppression at 10Hz.
