The Graham Audio Chartwell LS6 is a passive British BBC-inspired stand-mount monitor, designed by Derek Hughes. It uses a two-way, rear-reflex-loaded design with a thin-wall, damped cabinet and real-wood veneer. Its bespoke 165 mm polypropylene bass/midrange driver and 19 mm dome tweeter are integrated by a passive crossover; a front-baffle switch provides treble-level adjustment (nominal/0, +1 dB, or +2 dB). The cabinet has a reported internal volume of approximately 17 litres, a rear flared port, magnetically attached fabric grille, and a single pair of loudspeaker terminals (not bi-wireable). It is intended for use on stands and requires an external power amplifier. Current dealer listings and later manufacturer-related coverage indicate that the LS6 remains available; it should not be confused with the later LS6/f floorstanding variant or the LS6 Anniversary edition.
