The Grace 707 Mk II is a high-quality, ultra lightweight semi-integrated pick-up arm developed especially for 4-channel records and high compliance cartridges. It features a 6mm diameter light alloy pipe with a hard finish to eliminate unwanted resonances and a non-interchangeable acrylic headshell integral to the arm, allowing easy cartridge changes. The arm uses a high precision double gimbal pivot with aircraft instrument micro pivot bearings to reduce friction resistance to less than 20 milligrams. It includes a bias adjuster using both a rotating lever and weighted string principle for perfect groove tracing, and an arm director for smooth lowering motion. The arm is adjustable for cartridge weights between 4.5 and 12.5 grams and allows stylus pressure adjustments in 0.1g increments. The Grace 707 Mk II is praised for its tight, extended, and powerful bass, accurate placement, and detailed stereo with good depth and precision.
