“GR Research Subwoofer” is not a single uniquely identified model; GR-Research currently offers several servo-subwoofer systems, drivers, kits, and finished versions. The closest current finished-product match is the Sealed Servo Subwoofer (Single): a powered sealed subwoofer using GR-Research/Rythmik Direct Servo technology and a 12-inch SW-12-04 servo driver. It is offered with either an HX310 Class-D Hypex-based servo amplifier or an optional A370 PEQ Class-AB servo amplifier. The manufacturer describes its servo approach as providing substantially faster settling than conventional uncontrolled wofer systems, with emphasis on low-frequency texture, speed, and clarity.
