About the Telos 1000
The Goldmund Telos 1000 is a universal mono power amplifier designed for audiophile-grade performance. It delivers 400 watts into 8 ohms (mono) with a frequency response from 1 Hz to 300 kHz and total harmonic distortion of 0.01%. The amplifier features a gain of 29 dB, input sensitivity of 1.45 V, and a signal-to-noise ratio of 115 dB. It supports speaker loads from 4 to 16 ohms. The amplifier uses Class AB topology with Telos amplification technology, which ensures high purity and transparency of the audio signal with near-zero distortion at any volume level. The build includes high-quality components such as imported Nutric Canon XLR inputs, WBT speaker outputs, and large Sanken output transistors. It weighs approximately 60-70 kg and measures around 44 x 49 x 28 cm. The power supply uses dual 750 W toroidal transformers, and the amplifier includes soft-start relays to protect internal components and speakers. The Telos 1000 NextGen version incorporates the latest amplification board derived from the Telos 5500 NextGen, enhancing linearity, reducing distortion, and improving driver control for superior microdynamics and bass performance. The amplifier is finished with an all-aluminum brushed oxidation process and is available in standard and upgraded versions. Price for a pair is approximately .
