About the SuperSat 50

The SuperSat 50 is a 27-inch long, 2.5-inch deep satellite speaker available in vertical and horizontal (SuperSat 50C) versions. It is designed for dynamic output suitable for home theater systems, especially as a center channel for Triton-based setups or alongside flat screens. The cabinet is made from piano-gloss black aerospace-grade aluminum, providing a non-resonant enclosure for accurate sound reproduction. It features two 4.5" high-definition cast-basket mid/bass drivers with proprietary Multi-Vaned Phase Plug (MVPP) technology arranged in a D'Appolito array around a High-Velocity Folded Ribbon (HVFR) tweeter. Bass extension is enhanced by two 4" x 7" quadratic planar low-frequency radiators. The speaker has a nominal impedance of 4 ohms (compatible with 8 ohms), sensitivity of 92 dB, and recommended amplification of 20 to 200 watts per channel. It weighs 7 lbs and includes 5-way binding post terminals compatible with various connector types. The SuperSat 50 is ideal for on-wall mounting with keyhole mounts or threaded inserts and can be used with optional stands for table or floor placement. It comes with a 5-year warranty covering drivers and cabinets, and 3 years for electronic components.
