The GoldenEar ForceField 3 is an ultra-compact powered subwoofer designed to deliver deep, high-impact bass in a small footprint. It features an 8-inch front-firing long-throw woofer combined with a 9" x 11" quadratic planar infrasonic radiator that enhances low-frequency output and transient response. Powered by a 1000-watt Class D digital amplifier with DSP control, it offers clean, precise bass with low distortion. The enclosure uses a bass reflex passive radiator design with non-parallel walls to minimize standing waves and distortion. It includes LFE line-level input, speaker-level inputs and outputs with a high-pass filter, and adjustable low-pass crossover from 40 to 150 Hz. The subwoofer measures approximately 11.5" W x 15.75" D x 11" H, weighs about 26 lbs, and comes with a 5-year warranty on the woofer and 3 years on the amplifier. It is well-suited for both music and home theater applications, providing powerful bass extension down to around 18 Hz, though it may require tuning for optimal musicality.
