The Gold Note DS-1000 MKII is a high-end digital-to-analog converter and network player designed for audiophiles seeking superior sound quality and versatility. It supports native PCM audio files up to 24-bit/192kHz and DSD 64/128/256 via DoP. The unit features a proprietary Zero-Clock digital filter circuit with three selectable Master Clocks, ensuring minimal jitter and distortion. It includes asynchronous USB-B input, coaxial S/PDIF, and TOS optical digital inputs, plus two USB-A ports for flash memory and HDD playback (FAT32 format). The DS-1000 MKII offers optional internal preamp stage and balanced analog stereo input, making it an all-in-one source. Its modular design allows upgrades such as Class A tube output stages and external inductive power supplies. The chassis is built from solid machined steel and thick aluminum panels to reduce resonance and magnetic interference. A 3.5" TFT display and Single Knob Control (SKC) provide intuitive operation. Network connectivity includes LAN and WLAN (802.11b/g) with support for native and DoP DSD and PCM streaming.
