The Gingko Audio Cloud 11 vibration control platform offers superior vibration isolation performance compared to its predecessor, the Cloud 10. It features a thicker top plate with a reinforced skirt for rigidity, a thicker bottom plate with deeper wells to securely hold the rubber-like balls that isolate vibration, and a larger footprint to accommodate components with larger footprints. The platform reduces vibration by an average of 99% in the 5 Hz to 500 Hz range, with a resonant frequency around 13 Hz. It comes standard with five black balls, each supporting about 10 lbs, making it suitable for components weighing up to 50-60 lbs. The Cloud 11 is available in several sizes, including a Classic model designed specifically for the VPI Classic turntable. The platform is finished in black acrylic and is highly regarded for improving audio clarity by lowering noise floor, tightening bass, and enhancing transient response.
