About the SoundBlocks™

GIK Acoustics SoundBlocks™ are modular acoustic treatment units for high-end audio rooms, studios, and home listening spaces, combining broadband bass trapping with optional diffusion and range-limited control. Each SoundBlock is approximately 23" x 23" x 10" deep and is lab-tested to remain effective well below 50 Hz, making it a powerful low-frequency absorber in both wall-mounted and freestanding configurations. SoundBlocks can be mounted on the wall like conventional acoustic panels or interlocked using slide-and-lock rails to form large freestanding arrays or false walls, and can be fitted with solid wood back plates, Alpha series diffusion plates, or Impression series decorative plates to tune midrange and treble balance while maintaining bass control. They are available in a wide range of acoustically transparent Camira fabric colors with multiple wood and plate design options, and are built using eco-friendly, low-VOC, formaldehyde-free materials, with performance verified in independent lab testing. GIK also offers a pre-configured StackPack bundle that combines three SoundBlocks into a vertical stack, providing a space-efficient, full-range treatment solution at a discounted price compared to buying individual blocks.
