About the Q7d Diffuser
The GIK Acoustics Q7d Diffuser is a high-quality quadratic residue diffuser made from real wood laminates cut with CNC machines for precise tolerances and excellent finish. It features a 7-root well design that scatters sound starting around 350-600 Hz, providing effective diffusion up to 3 kHz and scattering up to 7 kHz. The diffuser is designed to be hung in mirror-imaged pairs to cover larger areas without repeating patterns, avoiding lobing effects. It is suitable for placement on rear walls, reflection points, behind dipole or bipole speakers, or in general locations to reduce slap echo. The Q7d is available in four finishes: Walnut, Sand, Midnight, and Blizzard, making it visually appealing for both professional studios and home listening rooms. Dimensions are 585 x 500 x 158 mm (approximately 19.7" x 19.7" x 6.22"), and it weighs about 9 kg (39 lbs).
