About the Silver
The Silver loudspeaker by German Physiks employs a unique two-way design with a carbon-fibre DDD driver and a 250mm woofer, providing 360° omnidirectional sound radiation. It covers a frequency response from 29Hz to 24kHz with a sensitivity of 86.9dB/W/m and an impedance of 4 ohms. The crossover frequency is set at 220Hz with electronic and acoustic slopes of 12dB/octave and 18dB/octave respectively. It features adjustable high-frequency response centered at 8kHz with options of -2dB, flat, +2dB, or +4dB. The cabinet is available in satin white, black, high-polish veneer, or carbon-fibre finishes. Dimensions are 32.5 x 126 x 32.5 cm and it weighs 34.5 kg. The Silver is designed to create a natural, concert hall-like soundstage that envelops the listener, with exceptional dynamics and tonal accuracy due to the phase-linear DDD driver technology. It requires a minimum amplifier power of 70W at 4 ohms and can handle nominal power of 120W and maximum of 200W. The loudspeaker uses two binding posts for input connections. Price varies between £12,950 and £16,200 per pair depending on finish.
