About the Neo

The Neo by genuin audio is a high-end active loudspeaker designed for uncompromising full-range music reproduction. It features a frontally positioned coaxial mid/high driver combined with a laterally mounted 12-inch woofer that operates below 180 Hz, reaching down to 27 Hz (-6 dB). The woofer has a very long excursion with a 3-inch voice coil and triple aluminum demodulation rings, providing powerful and clean bass. The mid/high coaxial driver focuses on authentic spatial presentation, detail, and homogeneity. The speaker uses professional-grade drivers with high efficiency and power handling, with the woofer capable of handling up to 1,200 watts and very low distortion. A custom DSP with 32-bit linear phase FIR filters and a “Look Ahead” analysis prevents overload of drivers and amplifiers, ensuring clean sound even at high volumes. The amplifier is a 4-channel UMAC® Class D module delivering up to 1000 watts. The Neo includes a touch display for operation control and supports balanced analog and digital inputs (XLR and AES/EBU). It offers three preset sound modes: Neutral, Wall, and HiFi. The crossover frequencies are set at 180 Hz and 2000 Hz with a 20 Hz high pass filter. The speaker is height adjustable via spikes for optimal setup.
