The Genesis 6.1c center-channel speaker shares many design elements with the Genesis 6.1 tower speakers, including the use of two 1" circular ribbon tweeters (front and rear), a 5" titanium-cone midrange driver, and two 6.5" aluminum-cone woofers. It features a sealed cabinet design with an On/Off switch for the rear tweeter and a rotatable Corian platform mounting the front tweeter and midrange driver, allowing horizontal or vertical placement. The speaker offers a frequency response of 48Hz to 36kHz (+/-3dB), sensitivity of 89dB/W/m, and a nominal impedance of 4 ohms. It includes tweeter and midrange level controls and uses speaker-level 5-way binding posts for input.
