About the CD1-II
The GamuT CD1 - Mk II is a high-fidelity CD player designed for audiophiles seeking natural, fluid, and non-mechanical sound reproduction. It uses a Crystal CS4390 digital-to-analog converter IC known for reduced jitter sensitivity, delivering a smooth and detailed audio experience. The player offers both balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) analog outputs, with a maximum output level of 4V at 1kHz and very low total harmonic distortion plus noise (THD+N) of less than 0.0025% at 1kHz, 0dB. Output impedance is 75 ohms unbalanced and 150 ohms balanced. Frequency response ranges from 10Hz to 20kHz with a slight variance of +0.1dB/-1.1dB. The unit features a robust build with a brushed finish and dimensions approximately 17" W x 4.5" H x 16" D (431mm x 112mm x 408mm). It includes a single S/PDIF (BNC) digital output and an IEC power receptacle.
