The Fyne Audio F704 floorstanding speaker incorporates advanced technologies from Fyne Audio's flagship F1 Series, blending a 300mm IsoFlare point source driver with a 300mm multi-fibre bass driver in a twin cavity tuned cabinet. It features a downwards firing port with a BassTrax Tractrix diffuser for enhanced bass dispersion. The speaker is designed for recommended amplifier power between 20 and 300 watts RMS, with a peak power handling of 600 watts and continuous power handling of 150 watts RMS. It offers a high sensitivity of 96dB and a nominal impedance of 8 Ohms. The frequency response ranges from 24Hz to 26kHz (-6dB typical in room). The crossover frequencies are at 200 Hz and 900 Hz, using a bi-wired passive low loss design with cryogenically treated components. The cabinet is finished in luxury high gloss piano lacquer available in black, white, or walnut veneers. Dimensions are 1339mm high, 540mm wide, and 561mm deep, with each speaker weighing 67.7kg. The F704 delivers a dynamic, refined sound with excellent imaging, deep bass, and a wide, deep soundstage, suitable for both low-power tube and powerful transistor amplifiers.
