The FX Audio DAC-X6 is a versatile Mini HiFi 2.0 digital audio decoder and headphone amplifier designed to improve sound quality for headphones and active speakers. It features multiple digital inputs including PC-USB, optical fiber, and coaxial, and outputs via RCA and a 6.35mm headphone jack. The device uses a combination of high-quality chips including OPA2134PA, TPA6120A2, CS4398, SA9023, and OP275G to ensure strong tonal input and output. It supports headphones with impedance from 32 to 600 ohms and delivers output power ranging from 90mW to 910mW depending on headphone impedance. The DAC-X6 offers a signal-to-noise ratio of ≥105dB and distortion ≤0.001%, with a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz. It is powered by a 12V 1A DC adapter and comes in black or silver with EU/US plug options. The device is plug-and-play with no driver installation required on Windows 10 and supports 24bit/96kHz USB input and 24bit/192kHz optical/coaxial input. It includes relay protection for headphones and speakers and allows op-amp upgrades. The compact unit measures 146mm x 98mm x 35mm and is suitable for music, gaming, and general audio enhancement.
