The Furutech FT-SDS is an audiophile-grade Schuko power socket designed for superior AC power delivery in high-end audio systems. It uses rhodium-plated or 24k gold-plated non-magnetic conductors made from α (Alpha) treated pure copper for excellent conductivity and minimal noise. The socket incorporates a cryogenic Alpha process to eliminate impurities, a patent-pending pressure plate for increased contact area, and options like NCF (Nano Crystal² Formula) for damping static and vibrations.
