About the FT-818(R)

The Furutech FT-818(R) is a pair of short-format, panel-mount speaker binding posts intended primarily for the amplifier side of a loudspeaker connection. It uses Furutech’s α (Alpha)-treated pure-copper conductors with rhodium plating, a carbon-fiber/nonmagnetic-stainless-steel/eutectic-copper housing, and Furutech’s Torque Guard construction. The terminals accept banana plugs and can be connected by soldering or set screw. The FT-818(R) is the rhodium-plated version; FT-818(G) is the corresponding gold-plated variant. Furutech continues to list FT-818(R) among its component parts, so it does not appear to be discontinued.
