The Furutech FPX is a premium duplex wall receptacle designed for audiophiles, featuring variants FPX-(R) Rhodium plated, FPX-(G) 24k Gold plated, and FPX-(Cu) non-plated α (Alpha) Phosphor Bronze. It employs a unique pin insert construction for maximum contact area, stable transmission, and tightest contacts without scratching male AC plugs. Known for Pure Transmission principles, it offers sonic improvements via advanced plating: Rhodium for high-resolution, transparent sound with precise bass and detailed highs; Gold for warm, flowing tone with stable soundstage and dynamic bass; Copper for full-range dynamics. All models are c(UL) approved, rated 15A/20A 125V AC, 2-pole+earth for North America, with set-screw connections accommodating 10-24 AWG cables.
