About the FI-28M(R)/(G)

The Furutech FI-28M(R)/(G) is a premium male power connector designed for high-fidelity audio applications, available in rhodium-plated (R) and gold-plated (G) variants. The FI-28M(R) features α (Alpha) pure-copper rhodium-plated conductors, a patented Floating Field Damper System to eliminate magnetic interference by star grounding metal parts via a sprung metal bridge, and a nylon/fiberglass body with carbon particles for vibration and resonance absorption. It includes a metal cable clamp to improve grip and reduce mechanically and electrically induced distortion. Specified for cable diameters from 6mm to 17.5mm, it ensures stable power transfer with meticulous build quality under Furutech's Pure Transmission Philosophy, which involves cryogenic treatment and demagnetization for optimal conductivity. The (G) version uses 24k gold-plated α pure-copper conductors with Earth/Ground Jumper System (US Patent No. 6,669,491).
