About the CF-202-N1(R)

The Furutech CF-202-N1(R) is a premium banana connector engineered for high-fidelity audio applications. It features an α (Alpha) pure copper rhodium-plated one-piece center conductor combined with an α (Alpha) nonmagnetic stainless steel body and beautifully finished highly damped carbon fiber and nonmagnetic stainless steel housing. The connector employs a specially designed wire compression clamp that enhances stability and contact area, with conductor wire fixed by set screw or soldering. The CF-202-N1(R) incorporates Furutech's Pure Transmission philosophy, which addresses well-known problems such as contact resistance, EMI and RFI rejection, and grounding. All metallic parts undergo Furutech's Alpha Process treatment, which involves deep cryogenic freezing at temperatures between -196 to -250°C using liquid nitrogen or helium, changing the molecular structure of the metal to relieve internal stress and improve electrical conductivity. The connector is supplied as a set of 2 pieces and includes a 2mm hex head screwdriver and hex socket set screws.
