The Furutech GTX-D NCF(R) is a high-end AC receptacle that embodies Furutech's commitment to delivering exceptional audio quality. It features rhodium-plated α (Alpha) Pure Copper conductors, which are strengthened by a nonmagnetic Stainless Steel Conductor Spring System. This system ensures a firm grip on male connector blades without causing damage to their plated surfaces. The receptacle incorporates Furutech's proprietary Nano Crystal² Formula (NCF) damping material, which effectively eliminates static, interconverts thermal, mechanical, and electrical energy, and damps vibrations. This results in superior resolution, clarity, and dynamics, with deep-black backgrounds and a purely natural tonal balance. The body is made from nylon/fiberglass with piezo ceramic and carbon damping material, and the cover is polycarbonate. It includes a nonmagnetic 2.0mm-thick stainless brace plate and a specially designed patent-pending conductor pressure plate. The dimensions are 104.0 mm (L) x 47.2 mm (W) x 28.0 mm (H), and it is specified for wire diameters of 4mm (set screw).
