The Furutech FT-SWS (R) NCF Schuko Wall Socket is a high-end audio-grade power socket designed to improve AC power delivery in HiFi systems. It incorporates Furutech's advanced Nano Crystal² Formula (NCF), which combines nano crystalline materials, ceramic, and carbon powder to generate negative ions that eliminate static and convert thermal energy into far-infrared. This technology also provides piezoelectric damping to reduce mechanical resonance. The socket features rhodium-plated α (Alpha) pure copper conductors with a thickness of 0.5mm, nylon/fiberglass insulation incorporating the NCF damping materials, and a carbon fiber finished cast Zn-Mg alloy front plate. It is rated for 16A 250V AC and designed for wire diameters up to 5.5 sq.mm (10AWG) with set screws. The build quality includes a 1.0mm thick zinc/steel brace plate and a patent-pending pressure plate that increases the contact area of the conductors, ensuring optimal electrical contact and sonic performance. Dimensions are 95.0mm x 95.0mm x 48.0mm (LxWxH).
