The Furman P-2400 designation covers two distinct Prestige Series 20A rackmount units: the P-2400 AR and the P-2400 IT, both built for demanding audio and A/V systems. The P-2400 AR is a 20A True RMS voltage regulator that maintains a stable 120V ±5V output, protecting equipment from sags, brownouts, and over-voltage conditions, with Linear Filtering Technology (LiFT), Series Multi-Stage Protection (SMP), and Extreme Voltage Shutdown (EVS); it includes 14 outlets (12 rear, 2 front) and is optimized for high-current gear such as power amplifiers. The P-2400 IT is a 20A symmetrically balanced isolation-transformer power conditioner for ultra-low-noise applications such as recording, mastering, and broadcast, providing over 80 dB common-mode and over 50 dB differential-mode noise reduction with a specially wound toroidal balanced isolation transformer for 100% isolation from line, neutral, and ground. Both are 19-inch rackmount, 20A units intended to deliver clean, stable AC power and protect sensitive audio equipment.
