The Franco Serblin Accordo Essence is a meticulously handcrafted 3-way floorstanding loudspeaker that combines traditional Italian craftsmanship with advanced acoustic engineering. It features a super-rigid, arch-shaped solid walnut cabinet decoupled with aluminium-magnesium parts to control resonance. The speaker uses a 29mm silk-dome tweeter by Ragnar Lian, a custom 150mm microspheres cone mid-woofer optimized for cone break-up control, and a dedicated 180mm microspheres cone woofer with an aluminium dust cap. The phase-coherent crossover ensures precise sound staging, focus, and depth, preserving spatial information from recordings. It delivers a frequency response of 35Hz to 22kHz, nominal impedance of 4 ohms, and sensitivity of 88dB/2.83V/1m, requiring a minimum amplifier power of 20W per channel. Dimensions are 1100 x 230 x 430 mm (HxWxD), and the pair weighs 60 kg unpacked.
