About the LC2
The Foundation Research LC-2 is an integrated AC power line conditioner and power cord designed to filter noise from the incoming AC line to audio components and prevent noise from being injected back into the power line. It features an 8-foot length with a dedicated line conditioner positioned centrally. The conditioner measures 8 inches long, 5.5 inches wide, and 2.5 inches high, excluding rubber feet. The cable is constructed with a woven shield and three insulated high-purity copper stranded cores, terminated with a Pass & Seymour hospital grade AC plug and a Schurter IEC320 IEC receptacle. The LC-2 supports 20 amps RMS and 28 amps peak current, making it suitable for high-current audio components. It is part of the Foundation Research Noise Reduction System and is designed to improve the musicality and clarity of audio playback by significantly reducing AC line noise bi-directionally.
