About the FM 133 Linearizer
The FM 133 Harmonic Linearizer by FM Acoustics allows precise correction and linearization of non-optimal recordings through a unique additive/subtractive linearizer bank. It improves bad resonances, coloration, noise, and other limitations while preserving the transparency and characteristics of the original audio signal. Unlike traditional equalizers, it uses five dynamically interacting controls in a linear multi-parameter process that avoids ripple in the pass band and phase shift or discontinuity, common issues in equalizers. The entire audio signal takes a direct path from input to output, and the signal remains purely in the analog domain. It can optimize any frequency or group of frequencies across the entire audio band without negative influence on the original signal. The FM 133 is suitable for improving vinyl, CD, DVD, downloads, tape, and other sources, making mediocre recordings more listenable and good recordings better. It can be connected in domestic systems via preamplifier tape loops or inline between preamplifier and power amplifier, and is also used in professional applications. The device measures 245 x 62 x 290 mm and features an input sensitivity of 100 mV, gain of ±0 dB, frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, and total harmonic distortion of 0.01%.
