The Fi Don Garber 2A3/45 Monoblocks are single-ended, direct-coupled triode amplifiers using a 6SF5 driver, a 2A3 or 45 directly heated triode output tube, and a MagneQuest DS025 output transformer. They are designed for approximately 3 watts and can be switched between 2A3 and 45 operation by changing the rectifier: a 5V4 for 2A3 operation and a 5Y3 or 80 globe rectifier on an adapter for 45 operation. The minimalist circuit uses point-to-point wiring and has no coupling capacitors. The pair was sold without output tubes.
