About the Envy

The Feliks Audio Envy is a handcrafted Class A single-ended transformer-coupled balanced headphone amplifier built around legendary 300B power tubes and PsVane CV-181 mk2 (6SN7) driver tubes. It supports headphones with impedance from 16 to 600 Ohms and delivers up to 8 Watts of power, suitable for even the most demanding planar magnetic headphones. The amplifier features multiple inputs including 2 unbalanced RCA and 1 balanced XLR, and outputs including 6.3mm and XLR headphone jacks, as well as RCA and XLR preamp outputs. It uses point-to-point wiring with premium copper or UPOCC single crystal copper wiring depending on the edition, and includes a zero feedback design with automatic biasing. The Envy also offers an impedance selector with three gain settings (Low, Mid, High) to optimize performance for different headphone types. The chassis is metal with a natural wood finish, available in various woods such as oak, American walnut, and zebrano. Power consumption is 110VA, and the unit weighs 15.1 kg. It can also drive speakers with 16 Ohm impedance at about 5 Watts output power. The amplifier includes matched pairs of power and driver tubes, AC cord, user manual, and warranty card. Extensive customization options and a Performance Edition with upgraded tubes and wiring are available.
