The Farad Super3 is engineered with the latest EDLC supercapacitor technology, offering high capacitance, low ESR, and high pulse power capability. It acts similarly to a battery but without the drawbacks, making it ideal for powering a variety of audio equipment such as DACs, preamps, and active speakers. The Super3 is available in several fixed output voltages ranging from 5 to 19V at 3A, with special versions offering 24V at 2.2A and negative voltages. It features a gold-plated GX16-4 output connector, a high-inductance double-shielded toroidal power transformer, and a robust aluminum housing that shields against EMI/RFI interference. The device is fully protected against overloads and electrical surges, ensuring safety for connected equipment.
