About the Exposure MCX Mono
The Exposure MCX Mono Power Amplifiers are robust monoblock amplifiers designed for high-fidelity audio systems. Each amplifier delivers a substantial power output of 300 watts into 8 Ohms and doubles to 600 watts into 4 Ohms, ensuring they can drive a wide range of loudspeakers with ease. The units feature both balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) inputs, with a gain of 24dB in unbalanced mode. Outputs include two pairs of loudspeaker sockets suitable for bi-wiring. The amplifiers incorporate advanced communication options such as 12V trigger inputs and outputs, as well as RJ45 'exlink' connectors for system integration. The chassis is made from brushed anodized aluminum, housing a powerful 1.5kVA transformer and internal heat sinks with ventilation slots for effective cooling. The front panel includes a discreetly lit oval window with the Exposure logo, which can be turned off. The dimensions are 490mm wide, 104mm high, and 414mm deep, with a weight of approximately 20kg per unit. Power consumption is 500W at full power into an 8 Ohm load and less than 1W on standby. The amplifiers are well-regarded for their build quality, power delivery, and aesthetic design, making them suitable for serious audiophiles seeking robust and reliable amplification solutions.
