The ES 45 system by Expériences Sonores is an integrated audio setup designed to present various sound stimuli including pure tones, environmental sounds, and speech in a 360-degree immersive sound field. It includes 8 discrete speakers with 8-channel amplification and a sound interface controlled by dedicated software. The system offers a user-friendly interface allowing selection of single or multiple sound stimuli, with precise spatial positioning of sound sources at 22.5 or 45-degree increments around the listener. It features a comprehensive library of sound environments such as automotive, restaurant, gymnasium, and more. Technical specifications include a frequency response of ±3 dB from 120 Hz to 16 kHz, maximum speaker output of 100 dB SPL, and precise inter-speaker calibration within 1 dBA. The amplification system provides 40W RMS output with a signal-to-noise ratio of 100 dBA and very low distortion (THD+N of 0.007% at 30W, 8Ω).
