About the DAC-Z10

The Eversolo DAC-Z10 is a flagship desktop digital-to-analog converter, balanced preamplifier, and headphone amplifier built on Eversolo's Fully Isolated Architecture (FIA), which completely separates digital and analog domains and galvanically isolates all inputs to minimize interference and ground loops. It uses a dual-mono AKM architecture with AK4191+AK4499 per channel, delivering ultra-low distortion and noise, with XLR output performance measured at THD+N 0.00008% and 130 dB SNR/dynamic range. A multi-stage low-noise power supply with three dedicated linear/toroidal transformer supplies independently powers the left analog, right analog, and digital sections to reduce cross-interference. Digital inputs include USB Audio, dual optical, dual coaxial, AES/EBU, I2S, and HDMI ARC/eARC, all with electrical isolation, plus Bluetooth via a Qualcomm QCC5125 module; high-resolution formats up to PCM 768 kHz/32-bit and DSD512 Native are supported via USB/I2S. The analog section incorporates a fully balanced preamp with XLR and RCA inputs/outputs, up to +10 dB analog gain, and R2R ladder attenuator volume control for the pre-out. A dedicated 6.35mm headphone amplifier module provides auto-impedance detection, three gain levels, and up to 1W into 16-32 ohms, covering a wide range of hi-fi headphones. Usability is centered around an 8.8-inch IPS touchscreen, complemented by IR remote and mobile app control. The chassis is made from aluminum alloy with a compact footprint of 310 x 88 x 365 mm (W x H x D).
