About the E-Glo Petit
The EAT E-Glo Petit is a compact hybrid MM/MC tube phono preamplifier and the smaller sibling of the E-Glo S. Its fully discrete, OpAmp-less circuit uses two 12AX7 dual-triode tubes and a low-noise J-FET input stage arranged in a quad cascode-parallel configuration. It provides selectable gain from 40 to 70 dB, adjustable MM capacitance, adjustable MC and MM input impedance, RIAA equalization accurate to within 0.1 dB from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, and a switchable subsonic filter. The published signal-to-noise ratio is 87 dB A-weighted. The unit has RCA connections, an aluminum chassis, and wooden side panels. This description applies to the original E-Glo Petit, not the later E-Glo Petit 2 or E-Glo Petit B variants.
