The Esoteric G-05 is a high-end master clock generator designed to elevate the musical expression of digital audio sources. It incorporates the proprietary 'Master Sound Discrete Clock,' an OCXO (Oven-Controlled Crystal Oscillator) developed entirely in-house by Esoteric, from crystal selection to temperature control circuits. Key technologies include the Esoteric SXT-03 large custom SC-cut crystal oscillator for stable oscillation, Master Sound TC total temperature control with 128-step multi-stage heater for uniform oven temperature, three independent power supplies for optimal voltage to circuit blocks, and Esoteric-HCLD buffer circuit delivering pure 10MHz sine wave output with powerful current transfer and 180MHz frequency response. It provides four 10MHz clock outputs via BNC connectors, compatible with Esoteric K-series, N-series players, and other digital devices with 10MHz input. The minimalist design from the 05 Series uses heavy-duty aluminum panels to suppress vibrations, ensuring superior sound quality.
