About the F01

The Esoteric F-01 is the finest Class A integrated amplifier, featuring a fully balanced dual mono preamplifier derived from the Grandioso C1X, with proprietary ES-Link Analog inputs, Ultra Fidelity Attenuator System (0.1dB steps, 1,120 positions), dual mono MM/MC phonostage, fully balanced headphone amplifier (600mW @ 32Ω), and 3-band balanced tone controls. The power amplifier section uses a simple circuit based on Grandioso S1X with bipolar transistor 3-parallel push-pull, huge 940VA EI transformer, and custom block capacitors (10,000μF x 4/ch). It supports system upgrades via pre-outs for S-05 power amp or PS-01F external power supply. Advanced features include adjustable input gains (±18dB, 0.1dB steps), L/R balance, AV through output, and programmable display. Housed in a rigid 32.2kg chassis with vibration control and custom heat sinks for superior sound quality.
