About the K-01X

The Esoteric K-01X is a flagship all-in-one digital player, serving as a more compact version of Esoteric's Grandioso series. It integrates the high-precision VRDS-NEO 'VMK-3.5-20S' transport from the Grandioso P1 with two independent monaural DAC units derived from the Grandioso D1, each using a parallel array of 8 AK4495S 32-bit DAC chips for optimized linearity and minimal noise. Enhanced with a 35-bit D/A processing algorithm, Esoteric-HCLD buffer amplifiers, DSD-compatible USB interface, and low phase noise clock, it supports CD/SACD playback, high-res PCM up to 384kHz/32-bit, and DSD up to 5.6MHz. The rigid chassis and four-transformer power supply ensure exceptional sound quality, dynamics, and resolution.
