About the DV60
The Esoteric DV-60 is a universal SACD/CD/DVD player designed for audiophile and videophile applications, offering high-quality 2-channel and multi-channel analog audio outputs, including balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA connectors. It features a proprietary transport mechanism with highly rigid metal isolation for superior anti-vibration and anti-resonance properties. The player uses an updated 24-bit D/A converter with FIR and RDOT+FIR digital filter algorithms for audio signal up-conversion, native DSD playback, and user-selectable PCM-to-DSD conversion. Video processing includes 14-bit processing with Analog Devices ADV7324 and Faroudja I/P conversion with DCDi technology, supporting HDMI output with up-conversion up to 1080p using the Anchor Bay ABT1018 chipset. Additional features include word clock synchronization via BNC input, RS-232C control with standby option, 12V DC trigger, and a highly rigid chassis with cut aluminum panels. The unit measures 17.375"W x 5.875"H x 13.875"D, weighs 31 pounds, and comes with a slim remote control with illuminated keys.
