About the DV60

The Esoteric DV-60 is a universal disc player for SACD (stereo and multichannel), CD, DVD-Audio, DVD-Video, Video CD, Super Video CD, DVD-R/RW, and MP3. It provides two-channel balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs, multichannel RCA outputs, coaxial and optical digital outputs, and composite, S-Video, component, and HDMI video outputs. Its design includes Esoteric’s rigid, vibration-resistant transport and chassis construction, 24-bit digital-to-analog conversion with selectable upsampling and digital-filter options, and a word-sync input for synchronization to an external clock. Video circuitry includes 14-bit processing, Faroudja DCDi-based progressive conversion, and HDMI upconversion to 1080p. Control and installation features include RS-232C, an infrared control input, and a 12 V trigger. The player measures 442 × 149 × 353 mm (17 3/8 × 5 7/8 × 13 7/8 inches) and weighs approximately 14 kg (31 lb).
