The Equi=Tech Model Q, commonly referred to as the 2RQ, is the company's flagship balanced power system designed for HiFi, A/V, and professional studio applications. It uses a large, specially-designed low-impedance bipolar wound isolation transformer to split 120V input into two 60V legs 180 degrees out of phase, reassembling them for common-mode rejection that cancels noise, hum, ground loops, and distortion while delivering a pure 60Hz sine wave without filter-induced artifacts or transient choking. Features include 12 rear outlets (2 unswitched, 10 filtered with 4 for digital gear, plus 1 GFCI), front-panel standby/power switches, digital voltmeter (input/output/off selectable), mil-spec oxygen-free copper wiring, magnetic/Faraday shielding, 97% efficiency, and patented LoNo technology for silent operation. It improves dynamics, bass tightness, soundstage imaging, and overall audio quality, suitable for high-current loads like amplifiers. Rackmountable with ears included.
