The Equi=Tech 2RQ is engineered to address power quality issues by preventing noise, hum, ground loops, and other distortions at the source, rather than filtering them out. It features a large, specially-designed balanced power transformer that splits 120V into two 60V legs with a 180-degree phase difference, enabling Common Mode Rejection to cancel out noise between legs. This results in a pure, balanced 60Hz sine wave output. The 2RQ is acoustically quiet due to its patented LoNo technology and premium components, making it suitable for critical listening environments. It includes high-quality switches, a digital voltage readout, and both 15A and 20A input power cables. The unit is maintenance-free, robustly built, and designed for professional studio and HiFi applications where power purity is paramount.
